First – Pirates of the Caribbean 3

What a pile of CGI nonsense. They really have dispensed with any pretence of a storyline now and are just going for ridiculousness.
I immediately wanted to watch the first Pirates of the Caribbean to be reminded of how bloody brilliant it was without being tainted by awful sequels.

Second – Spiderman 3

Jesus Christ, how incredibly dull. No action, all romance between two totally unlikeable characters, and lots of sappy sentimental rubbish in between. And why didn’t the butler speak up in the previous film? Oh, because that would have meant there wouldn’t have been a previous film. How convenient.

Third – Die Hard 4

Brilliantly ridiculous. I especially loved the insane fighter plane causing billions of pounds of damage and killing lots of people for no reason. No, I mean it! Can’t fault the filim, in fact, I want to watch it again…this time with popcorn.
